Assembly District 43 - Competitive Assembly District
+5.2 Dem prediction, but in 2024 Brown won by only 2.6% or 841 votes, defeating a Republican incumbent.
Rep. Brienne Brown (D) - Cosponsored the Democrats HDC Hemp reg bill SB 644, she also co-sponsored the Dems total legalization bill SB 1045; had been very supportive of hemp, attended the UW day, was willing to hold a forum in the district. Last session the Republican against her was Scott Johnson, who was previously the most vocal Republican supporting legalization, but he (they) Republican strategists wanted to try to use it against her? It was a weird ordeal, anyways, the Republican lost.
I spoke with her during the 2024 election cycle and she is a “Regulate and Legalize” type of candidate and would support the Wisconsin Cannabis Caucus idea.
Follow her Campaign Facebook Page and visit her website for more information.
Republican Paul McGraw ( R ) - Manger of? 5 clinics/30 providers no insurance/pay per service, but is a Veterinarian, was with DATCP for 14 years and the State Vet and State Asst Vet at one point.

Strategies: Help Brown stay elected if she puts hemp first; obtain stance from Republican candidate. If both favorable, use that in the strategy to push more elected officials to save hemp first and follow what we have put forth in the following:
