The Democratic Field is crowded and all candidates have been supportive of marijuana reform in one way shape or form, but which Democrat will be the one to put embrace the “Save Hemp” philosophy our industry is looking for.
I emailed all the of the Democratic and Republican Candidates the resources we put together.
On the Republican side, Andy Manske (Article from April about Manske) is trying to force a primary with Tom Tiffany. Manske has cannabis reform as part of his campaign platform, unlike Tom Tiffany. https://andymanske4governor.com/
We did some strategic interviews and got the news reporter to question Tiffany shortly after and we are making some traction, here is the interview: Wisconsin loses millions in marijuana tax revenue to border states, but Republican constituents are going to really need to work their candidate over on this issue, as Tiffany has not been friendly to cannabis reform and he has not co-sponsored or said anything about the hemp situation…

The Wisconsin Coalition for Cannabis Reform is committed to nonpartisan advocacy. We are actively working to organize a similar forum with the Republican gubernatorial candidates, anticipated for July or August.
